About Yashraj Chavhan

I am an Indian evolutionary biologist who lives in Sweden. My current research focuses on understanding how multicellularity evolves in ancestrally unicellular organisms. I am particularly interested in studying how the multilevel evolution of phenotypic plasticity facilitates the major evolutionary transition from unicellularity to multicellularity. I am also interested in developing new experimental approaches to study mutation biases.
