About Abdullah Gohar
I'm a member of the Egyptian team (Sallam Lab) at Mansoura University and a PhD student in the field of vertebrate paleontology at Oklahoma State University in USA. My research focus is on the evolution and paleontology of marine mammals, especially the earliest cetaceans and sirenians. Recently, I participated in the naming and description of Tutcetus rayanensis, the smallest basilosaurid whale, and Phiomicetus anubis, an ancient amphibious four-legged whale, from the Sahara Desert of Egypt.
