About Carla J Harper

I am a palaeomycologist and palaeobotanist interested in the diversity, evolution and biology of fungi, especially the interactions between fungi and plants. Most of my work focusses on fungi that lived during the Palaeozoic and early Mesozoic, 400 to-200 million year ago. I am an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science in the Discipline of Botany, School of Natural Sciences, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
