About Carlos Antonio da Silva Junior
Carlos Antonio da Silva Junior is a Professor of Remote Sensing and Applied Geoprocessing at the State University of Mato Grosso in Brazil. He coordinates a multidisciplinary team in the GAAF- Geotechnology Applied in Agriculture and Forest laboratory (http://pesquisa.unemat.br/gaaf/) and the Brazilian SojaMaps and SpaceAgro platforms. He is an agronomist engineer who uses advanced remote sensing and digital image processing tools to monitor anthropic actions on the environment through multi and hyperspectral sensors, time-series, vegetation indices, geo-object-oriented analysis, and monitoring of the Earth's surface and its climatic influence.
