Very nice project!

Just a quick comment you may find interesting. I completed my MSc degree in Northern Norway where I studied drinking behaviour in hooded seals. This species is also listed as endangered and what is interested about it is that there are 3 populations clearly separated (East Greenland, Newfoundland and Davis Strait) where one of them (Greenland) had a massive decline a few years ago while the others do relatively well. I could be a good species to add to you research and the fieldwork is something you will never forget.
